To help you get the most from your reflexology session at Pure Serenity, it’s helpful to follow a few simple aftercare suggestions. Reflexology continues to work gently through the body after your appointment, so giving yourself time to rest and rebalance can enhance the benefits.

Aftercare Advice
  • Drink plenty of water Staying hydrated helps support the body’s natural cleansing processes.

  • Rest when you can Reflexology can be deeply relaxing, so allow yourself time to unwind and enjoy the calming effects.

  • Avoid heavy meals and alcohol for the rest of the day This helps your body continue to rebalance without added strain.

  • Listen to your body You may feel more relaxed, sleepy, energised, or emotional — all normal signs that your body is responding to treatment.

  • Keep warm A light drop in temperature is common after holistic treatments, so staying warm helps maintain comfort.

  • Avoid strenuous exercise for the remainder of the day Gentle movement is fine, but give your body space to settle.

  • Be mindful of heightened emotions Reflexology can release tension held in the body, which may bring emotions to the surface. This is a natural part of the rebalancing process.

Possible Reactions

These are normal and usually pass within 24–48 hours:

  • Mild tiredness or increased energy

  • Temporary headache

  • More frequent urination or bowel movements

  • Feeling emotional or reflective

  • Lightness or tingling in the feet

  • These are simply signs that your body is adjusting and responding to the treatment.​
