Drink plenty of water Staying hydrated helps support the body’s natural cleansing processes.

Rest when you can Reflexology can be deeply relaxing, so allow yourself time to unwind and enjoy the calming effects.

Avoid heavy meals and alcohol for the rest of the day This helps your body continue to rebalance without added strain.

Listen to your body You may feel more relaxed, sleepy, energised, or emotional — all normal signs that your body is responding to treatment.

Keep warm A light drop in temperature is common after holistic treatments, so staying warm helps maintain comfort.

Avoid strenuous exercise for the remainder of the day Gentle movement is fine, but give your body space to settle.

Be mindful of heightened emotions Reflexology can release tension held in the body, which may bring emotions to the surface. This is a natural part of the rebalancing process.
Possible Reactions
These are normal and usually pass within 24–48 hours:
